Tilsiter Surchoix is a premium-quality cheese; it is slightly more mature and has a more intense flavor, yet it remains soft and has a fine texture. It derives its aromatic character from at least four months of aging and careful care. Like all other Tilsiter varieties, it is naturally lactose-free and can be safely consumed by those with lactose intolerance.
